At SkyPointe Church, our three-fold purpose is “To connect with our community and train them to honor God with their lives.” 

Connect – Building relationships is what we’re about, and we’d love the opportunity to build a relationship with You!  We are convinced a strong spiritual family is a necessary for spiritual growth and to help weather the storms all of us eventually face.  We are designed by God to live in community.  After all, even the Lone Ranger had Tonto!

Train – When it comes to making real changes in our lives, head knowledge isn’t enough.  It’s one thing to understand football plays and the aerodynamic properties of a football flying through the air, but it’s another thing entirely to successfully march a football team down the field like Peyton Manning, or the quarterback of your choice (though Pastor Scott is fairly convinced that the quarterback of your choice should be Peyton Manning!).  A successful life is the result of practice that comes about through practical training.  If you’re looking for the latest fads or fashions, we may not be much help, but if you’re looking for help in living seven days a week, you’ve found the right place!

Honor – Our ultimate goal is to lead a life a life that brings God honor.   It is God who created us, and our ultimate goal should be to please Him.  We please Him when we live in the way He wants us to.  Fortunately, God doesn’t leave it up to us to guess what pleases Him, He has already supplied the direction through His word, and He supplies the strength to carry it out!
